Osuna Design Jewelry is an exploration of organic minimalism, using natural shapes and visual simplicity to create a refined sophisticated look.
I select semi-precious stones, fresh water pearls, and other beads from around the world. Each piece is then hand-wrapped with sterling silver and gold filled wire to create unique, innovative designs with an elegant edge.
My inspiration to create jewelry comes from years of attending art museums like the San Francisco and New York Museums of Modern Art. In particular, Alexander Calder's mobiles and Joan Miro's paintings demonstrate that movement can play as important a role as form, line, and color. I'm continually encouraged to explore the revitalizing power of creation.
